Jannich Friis Petersen is an experienced business leader with a proven track record in strategy, business development, and e-commerce, particularly within the short-term rental and travel industries.

With nearly a decade leading Spain-Holiday.com, he played a key role in shaping the company’s growth from startup to a consolidated business, leading a team of 40 professionals. His leadership extended across all facets of the business, from developing growth strategies, revenue optimization to operational efficiency, digital marketing, and product development.

As CEO of Spain-Holiday.com, Jannich led the company’s transition into a market leader, managing a portfolio of over 30,000 holiday rentals and driving 24 million annual visitors to the platform. His focus on strategic growth, brand positioning, and technology-driven solutions helped scale the business and improve conversion rates. He was instrumental in the company’s M&A process, successfully integrating Spain-Holiday.com into Holidu’s ecosystem post-acquisition.

Beyond Spain-Holiday.com, Jannich has remained deeply involved in the short-term rental sector. He is the co-founder and VP Treasurer of AVVAPRO,  the Andalusian Association of Tourist Homes and Apartments Professionals. He has also served on advisory boards for key industry events and companies, including Vitur Summit and Caleta Homes.

Currently, Jannich advises and invests in businesses, where he supports organizations in scaling their operations, optimizing sales strategies, and navigating the evolving digital landscape. In addition, he holds a role as CMO and investor in RedClaimer Legaltech, where he contributes to brand positioning and market expansion.

Originally from Denmark, Jannich has lived in Málaga for over 17 years and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Danish. His approach to leadership is defined by strategic vision, data-driven decision-making, and a deep understanding of digital business models.
